So following on from last months blog What Makes A Good Musician? (Part 4) I’m going to discuss one topic that is an absolute must…Tempo's.

Honestly you really can't underestimate the importance of keeping a solid groove and rock steady tempo. Whether you're practicing scales, improvising or jamming to your favourite song practicing to a click, metronome and or drum machine will ensure you keep tabs on building consist timing within your playing.

Fluctuating tempos can and will cause so much aggro between musicians - starting songs at the wrong tempo, spending up and or slowing down usually becomes the catalyse for arguments and disagreements.
